Discovered by John Starnes at the famous Fairmount Cemetery in Denver. Gloriously fragrant crimson-magenta cabbage style roses. Once blooming in late spring. A large shrub reaching 8 feet tall and wide.

I’m generally not a fan of red roses but this one is fantastic! It bloomed heavily and then gave a few scattered into the summer. Very healthy and sets loads of beautiful hips!
