Enfant de France

$27.95

Hybrid Perpetual (Lartay, France, 1860)

This “Child of France” creates quite a show in the garden with it’s elegant cluster blooms of light pink with a silver tinge. A graceful old garden rose, with an upright habit reaching 4 to 5 feet tall and light green wrinkled foliage. Widely known and grown for it’s intense fragrance of grandma’s soap, pepper and attar.

1 review for Enfant de France

Once my Enfant de France became established it has put on many flushes during the season. The roses smell amazing. In zone 7b in the South it has done very well and does not get riddled with blackspot. Give this rose time to grow and establish, meaning a few years and you won’t regret it. To me it’s my favorite old garden rose.
