Mary Cookson –
I bought this rose last spring, so it’s only had a season. I planted this rose in a spot that is very challenging for most roses-part shade, poor soil, competing with water-hogging hydrangeas, along a path where my dog likes to help “water” the shrubs. I know rugosas are tough, but this rose has exceeeded all expectations. Not only is it surviving in this not-ideal spot, but it’s thriving.
