A beautiful rose, and I recommend anyone in a hot dry zone to have at least one bourbon! I am in the high desert, and they just thrive here!

Lovely bourbon rose.
Vigorous growth once established.

Another new one for me, planted just this year. I have her in the shade of an apple tree and she doesn’t seem to mind that one bit. Like all of the other roses I have bought from High Country roses, she gave me some blooms in the first year.

I purchased this rose last year and this spring she gave me four blooms, which have been not only beautiful, but so fragrant that one flower perfumed the kitchen with a fresh, energizing scent. They held up through a big storm too. Queen of bourbons has been super healthy since arriving and is growing in her temporary pot in a shady spot under a tree, with maybe 2-3 hours of morning light, so definitely shade tolerant! I’ve been very happy with all of my purchases here. Thankyou!
