When this plant bloomed for the first time, I nearly drooled with delight. Mine had a yellow center and the first couple rows of petals were yellow, but the outermost ring held petals that were red from the halfway point to the tips so that it created this neat effect that looked like bright yellow bursting from a sunset. It was gorgeous! Then flower turned less yellow and more red as it aged so that each day it looked a little different. It has been a steady bloomer in its first season.

If you like Rio Samba, you will love this rose. It’s like a mini version of that rose. It blooms a lot and the blooms are very colorful, and you end up having all the colors between red and yellow on the shrub at once. It’s a very nice mini rose! I have mine planted between the orange mini All A-Twitter and the yellow mini Lemon Drop, and they look really nice together.
