Beautiful magenta roses. The scent lives up to its name of perfume factory. the third strongest scented rose I have grown. You can’t walk by it without stopping to smell them. My daughter and puppies love to come sniff this one. No disease or issues.

Perfume factory has its first bloom. The flower has deep magenta color, highly saturated and vibrant. It has intensive pure old rose fragrance. I can’t wait for it to grow up and put more show.

Excellent old rose fragrance! Not my most prolific bloomer, but that may be due to the location I have it planted as it doesn’t get as much sun as some of my others. Seems robust and healthy so far!

Beautiful rose! Planted where its fragrance can greet visitors to my front door

She smells great. I take visitors no matter who they are…. Fed Ex, Amazon, USPS, wood delivery men, propane delivery, neighbours , criminals -nonono lol. They all are shocked first by Factory’s brilliant color, then I have to almost push their heads down to smell her. Then, they go OMG and go back to do some serious sniffing. At this point, they start a conversation with me, consisting of “ what? how” omg” ooooo”.I love this rose”. And this all is going on with my straggly almost leafless tall stemmed rose. I hope for a better leafing out next year, and some research why I get a few incredible blooms and then she denudes herself (I should cover her with a blanket). So, a honkin smeller with issues for me.

Perfume Factory is just as delightful as it smells. The scent is amazing, strong, and captivating, while the blooms are absolutely stunning. It’s the kind of rose that instantly stands out in the garden and keeps drawing you back for more.

Perfume Factory came in February 2025. I think between our weird on again off again wet Spring, then the burning hot Summer here in Redding, CA, she just couldn’t take it. The main stem grew slowly, barely leafed out at all and finely gave it all up. She was in a hotter area than the other two roses I got at the same time. They actually performed quite well in spite of the weather.

This rose has really surprised me, in a good way! She took off right away, easily outperforming the other twenty or so new roses I’d planted the same time in what turned out to be an exceptionally tough gardening year (drought, insects, weeks of weather over 100F). Put out several stout canes (definitely grows like a hybrid tea!) in the heat of summer. Flowers are plentiful and very beautiful, I don’t have another rose with its unique coloring and of course it smells great. As always, the plant arrived healthy and transitioned easily into my garden.

She started out a little slow, but grew steadily. Not a lot of blossoms her 1st year. Very healthy foliage. Winterized well & looking forward to her taking off in 2026.
