Damask, (Unknown, before 1832).
Named for the Iranian city of Isfahan and also known as 'Pompon des Princes', Ispahan is one of the classic Damask roses. In the late spring and early summer, exquisite medium pink blooms form a blanket covering this bush in color and fragrance. Once blooming, this explosion is not to be missed. Flowers have a strong fragrance and can be cut and elegantly displayed indoors. Strong disease resistance.
