Gallica (unknown, before 1842)
Clusters of shapely pink blend blooms adorn a classically shaped gallica shrub reaching five feet tall. A great addition to any old garden rose collection. Fragrance is strong but not overpowering. Henri Fouquier was introduced to us by our friend Gail who’s garden thrives in Colorado’s zone 4 high plains.
Pronounced: a(n)-hree foo-kyay – from French Rose Names by Diana Bellucci

Allicia Ocampo –
Once bloomers but COVERED in blooms for the spring. Lights up a far corner for those few weeks. The color is more vibrant in person, and the shape of the blooms really is unique. One of my favorites.
