Neptune is a gorgeous full lavender bloom with small hints of purple through out the flower. This plant has good vitality and has glossy green leaves.

I have grown many of the purple scented varieties with success but this is my favorite. The scent is amazing and I can smell it just walking by the plant. As the buds develop, the color on the tips of the petals contrasts so beautifully to open into picture perfect blooms. The color is this soft lavender almost blue with violet ridges. No disease issues noted. Will be ordering more of this variety for gifts next year. If you like purple roses, this will not disappoint.

This rose has the loveliest purple flowers, with such a beautiful fragrance! Mine didn’t like its first spot, and it’s now in a large pot and very happy. I think the first spot didn’t get quite enough sun. I will do whatever I need to to make this rose happy. It’s just that good.

I’m a relatively new gardener in Zone 8b (PNW). I just started poking my toes into the wonderful world of roses in the second half of 2025. I got Neptune on a bit of a whim as a substitution for a different rose that wasn’t quite ready to ship. It arrived in the second half of September and is doing well and put on a bit of new growth. No blooms yet but I’m just happy it’s thriving.
