Full, lightly fragrant pink blooms repeat through much of the season. Nearly thornless, arching canes with matte green, holly-like foliage reach 3 to 10 feet high and 3 to 6 feet wide, depending on climate.
The Canadian Artist series honors notable contirbutors to the arts. This rose pays tribute to French-Canadian singer-songwriter, poet, writer, actor and Québécois political activist Felix Leclerc (1914 – 1988).

Felix is exceptionally hardy and usually has some cane remaining after my very cold Colorado winters. Mine is still young since I transplanted it from my old house in winter, but is starting to gain some size and blooms frequently. I’m hopeful it’ll be cane hardy enough here to be a true climber and gain some height. No diseases that I’ve seen.
