Just put out her maiden bloom and it was a beautiful, sunny delight, full of charm. Shows good growth promise and disease resistance in zone 7a

Gorgeous happy yellow colored rose. It starts off a golden yellow and transitions to a pale yellow. It has grown well in my hot humid Hawaiian climate without any disease or issues.

This is such a beautiful rose! I planted this rose in April and it has been a pleasure to watch, no disease issues. It is easy to grow and the flowers are gorgeous. Growing in middle GA

What an amazing rose! As the first bloom arrived, she’s been blooming he little head off since. We’ve had a significant frost, but she’s still blooming! Her name is perfect with her buttery yellow flowers. đź’› I only purchase from High Country Roses now. I’m actually thinking about planting another Julia Child rose.

This is a beautiful rose not only for the roses, color and smell but also because it does grows fast, strong with multiple flushes through the season. Even blooming now in Nov.

One of my top 5 roses. I paired it with EbbTide in my LSU Tigers themed bed. I don’t detect fragrance but some say it does have it.

Pictures never do this rose justice. I find it to be one of the prettiest roses I’ve ever had. It’s stunning. It gives off a nice fragrance and tons of flowers. It’s a truly beautiful rose bush. It’s compact so your garden has space for other roses. You wont be disappointed with this one.

Ordered 3 bands winter 2022 and planted in February 2023. All 3 bloomed non-stop from late spring through early December and are currently close to 2’ tall with thicker than average canes. Would definitely recommend Julia Child from High Country Roses.

I have had my Julia Child rose for about a year and a half. This rose has impressed me. Last summer (2023) was crazy unbearable hot (100+ daily for months) in Houston area and this rose bloomed the whole time. Several of my roses don’t really bloom much once we hit 95+. We are pretty humid and it has no blackspot. Incredible performer! I can’t oversell it.

Absolutely gorgeous rose! She began blooming very soon after I planted her, and she hasn’t stopped. The roses from High Country Rose’s have grown, bloomed and prospered better than those from any other nursery. I live at 7,300 ft. elevation in eastern AZ, zone 5A. Thank you everyone who works at HCR!

Flowers profusely. Petals shift from medium yellow to pale yellow as they age. Lightly scented with hints of licorice.

My new favorite rose. I just put this out this year and in a very hot, hot summer in Kentucky, it grew and bloomed profusely. I couldn’t ask for a better result.

Julia is healthy and vigorous! She bloomed almost immediately while still band size and didn’t quit until frost. Every bloom was bright yellow fading over a few days to butter. No problems with disease in her first year. Light and cheerful fragrance. Zone 5b/6a, hot dry summers.
