Général Testard

Rambler-Hybrid Wichuraiana (Pajotin/Pajotin-Chédane, France, 1918)

Général Testard blooms in delicate clusters that feature a vivid red color with a contrasting white center.  This rose produces long, flexible canes that can be trained as a climber or allowed to ramble across structures.  The foliage is medium green with seven leaflets per leaf, providing a lush backdrop to the colorful blooms.

Note:  This rose is part of the American Rose Society’s “Save the Ramblers Initiative” focused on preserving the rare roses of Anne Belovich’s personal collection.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this rose will fund the ongoing preservation efforts of the American Rose Society.
