I am not big on red roses. Or so I thought. I got crimson sky in July and she has givin me many big beautiful blooms. I definitely recommend this rose!

This rose caught my attention being a sister seedling to the Red Eden. I planted Eden, White Eden and Pretty in Pink Eden around April, and they are healthy but no blooms as of August (wasn’t really expecting any so soon). I chose Crimson Sky instead of Red Eden because I read it was faster to grow and bloom than Red Eden. Crimson Sky was actually planted in May and began blooming in June. The blooms are quite lovely and remarkably have lasted for up to 8 days on the plant! It does get some afternoon shade, but the 100 plus temperatures have not fazed the blooms. One of my favorites already.
