My Sweet Sunblaze has done very well since planting over a long hot summer, and produced lots of growth and blooms. This is a durable productive mini that appears to perform well in tough conditions. A+++

I have had a Sweet Sunblaze in my Zone 5 garden for at least 5 or 6 years. I also have perhaps four other Sunblaze minis as well. This particular one has been the strongest of all. It blooms like mad all season long and forms a dense mounding shrub. It grew much larger than my other Sunblazes and maxed out at about 4′ at least and about 2.5′ tall. One thing I’ve noticed about it is that in winter, the canes of this plant are some of the last of my modern roses for the canes above ground to remain green. It is very hardy and in some years the canes had minimal dieback and stayed green all winter. I’ve since transplanted it to a new location and after the initial transplant shock, it took off again. Would be stellar on a corner or edge of a bed perhaps with something taller behind it. Great rose if you’re looking for a tough pretty pink mini. Highly recommend this variety from the Sunblaze line.
