Miniature (Dr. Keith W. Zary, United States, 1998)
Bees Knees is a compact and striking miniature rose. Blended yellow blooms, with pink hued tips, put on a show all growing season. The shrub itself features vigorous semi-glossy foliage that provides a perfect background for the colorful flowers.

Just planted this is 2023 so hasn’t overwintered in my zone 5 garden yet, but this season it took off and bloomed a lot for a first year rose. Bright and cheery color.

I bought this rose in the fall of 2023 so this is its first full year in the ground. What a wonderful rose, reminds me in many ways of a mini Peace. I couldn’t be happier.
I purchased another mini, Hot Tamale and already have had a couple of blossoms. Another stellar plant!

I am in Calgary, Canada, zone 3-4. I do not protect this rose for the winter. I’ve had this rose for 4 years. This rose comes back faithfully every year and blooms profusely. I love it!

Ordered two of these so I could share with my daughter. Daughter’s rose tripled in size quickly and has been a prolific bloomer in our high 90 temperatures. Unfortunately, mine was destroyed by an accident, but I am on the wait list for another when back in stock. I wanted to mention out of at least 25 roses that I’ve ordered from HCR in the last year all have grown and performed wonderfully!
