Hybrid Tea (Alain Meilland, France, 2021)
The large, old-fashioned blooms of this special rose harken back to an old cottage garden. Flowers are extremely fragrant with notes of anise and earthy pear. Its abundant petals are creamy white with an occasional light blush. It exhibits excellent disease resistance and is a wonderful rose for cut floral arrangements.

I garden in a high humidity area (zone 7b). Top Cream is resistant to black spot and highly fragrant. This rose is always in bloom and very healthy. For a video of the habit and blooms of our first year roses: https://youtu.be/GQaUYIS89DQ

Another incredible Meilland rose! This rose really reminds me of a florist rose, and has been a wonderful bloomer! I am so happy I got two!

First year rose review, spring 2023, zone 5b. From this order I purchased: Princess Charlene de Monaco, Koko Loko, Reine Des Violettes, Firefighter, Top Cream, Bolero, Ebb Tide, Apricot Twist, and Quicksilver. Quicksilver wasn’t ready by the early ship date so I switched it with Bliss. The order was packed well and shipped quickly. Everything arrived healthy and I was very happy with this experience (first order from High Country and first time ordering band roses). I kept them in an unheated greenhouse until June, then moved out to a raised bed that I had planned to grow them out for the first year or so until I move them out to their permanent spot. It’s my second year growing roses and first experience with bands. Although the plants are small I was able to try more varieties within my budget. Top Cream probably out produced all the other new roses, with beautifully shaped, pale colored, scented flowers. It was also in the top 3 for overall growth this first year.

Just received this rose last week. It seems like a strong and sturdy little plant. I cannot wait to see this bloom in the spring!

First year rose for me and man is Top Cream prolific! Pushed out bloom after bloom all summer long! The scent is not my favorite, it’s a little powdery for my tastes, but not bad either. Very healthy. Absolutely pleased with my purchase and glad I took a chance on this one!

Just got this one last year and it really took off! Definitely one that does great own root

A gorgeous rose that is very healthy and vigorous! Her blooms are full and fragrant. I love how her blooms age very well. Often times pale roses will look bad with age, but her blooms look fantastic even with time on them!

I am in zone 8a. This does not bloom much during summer heat but is spectacular in spring and fall. The bloom last a long time. A must have in the garden

Fast grower, very healthy. Zone 6a (formerly 5b) upstate NY, mid Hudson valley. Very disease resistant, broad, glossy, deep green foliage. Vigorous grower is an understatement, although she is one of a very few Hybrid Teas I have in my garden so that could explain the difference in growth rate. I planted this one late June 2024, a month or more later than many other larger potted and bare root roses from other vendors this spring. It is now one of my larger rose plants already in less than one growing season. Really nice to see how, depending on the variety, High Country’s lower priced smaller sized plants can outpace many more expensive larger format competitors. A couple of nice flushes of 6 -7 giant white many petaled flowers just as advertised and lovely scent too (right out the gate!). And then a couple octopus canes reaching up to 5 feet. Three canes have thickened remarkably. Expecting a pretty good show next season.

A gorgeous rose that grew quickly and is already blooming. It’s a lasting bloom and excellent for arrangements.

Top cream is my favorite rose! 🤫 The ones with thicker stems flowered relatively quickly. It is so beautiful, and I agree with the person who said they smell like a powdery parfum. Even the first blossom off the little plant was full size and fully formed. Clip below:

Top Cream is a true stunner. I love this addition to my collection along with the other roses from High Country. I’m excited to see how well it does next season in bouquets.
Zone 6a, Michigan

Strength and beauty in a rose. I love the fragrance and the shape of the bloom. A good sport considering her neighbors are growing bigger than expected.

I’ve had so many compliments on this beautiful rose, definitely worth buying. She is my bridal bouquet forever in my garden now. Love this rose. 8a SC
