Hybrid Tea (Alain Meilland, France, 2006)

This lovely hybrid tea rose is a true treat for the senses.  Intricate ruffled edged petals in shades of apricot and coral contrast nicely with the soft green foliage. Fragrance is surprisingly spicy and this rose loves the sun.  A good performer on both coasts above average resistance to diseases.

My apricot candy roses are prolific bloomers and really healthy after 1 year. They love the sun and wind in Dallas, TX.

I’ve grown roses for over 20 years, and this is one of my all time favorites. The blooms are fabulously romantic, and cycle through many changes on the bush, plus it holds the flowers a long time. The first spring flushes are out of this world, then it repeats well all season. A star performer in my garden for sure.

I was really surprised by this rose. I am gardening in zone 7b in a humid environment. This rose has no black spot and it is super healthy. The blooms are huge and it has been prolific in it’s first year. I can’t wait to see how it performs in the coming seasons. 4. Rated 5 out of 5

    Mary Cookson – November 13, 2023

Apricot Candy is probably the most prolific bloomer in my garden. The blooms are big and beautiful and the shrub makes a lot of them. It’s also very healthy. The shrub is a nice vase shape, too, so even when it’s not in bloom, it’s still pretty!
