-25%Shrub (Canadian Artist Series, Collicutt 2005)
At last, a rich, red, disease-resistant rose with exceptional hardiness and continuous bloom! High-centered buds open to large, semi-double blooms that are nearly 3 inches in diameter. Reaches 4 to 5 feet tall and 3 to 4 feet wide with large matte green leaves and an upright habit.
This rose is named in honor of Canadian artist and writer Emily Carr (1871 – 1945). Carr was a heavily inspired by the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast and was one of the first painters in Canada to adopt a modernist and post-impressionist painting style.

Frances Heywood –
Bloomed @ 6 weeks(July4) went till end of August. Beautiful bright red blossoms. Too bad about having no fragrance although my grandson swears it has a faint scent. The bush itself is thriving, nice and bushy. zone 4b agrees with it
