Lynsi –
This little rose has a lovely bloom that starts a deep yellow and fades to a soft buttery color. It’s very pretty when covered in blooms. The first year I had her she stayed very small, as she is described, but struggled with black spot. The second year I put her in the ground and she became enormous! I was fine with the growth, but it was very unexpected! The second year she handled black spot better, but was susceptible to powdery mildew. Hopefully this next year she stays healthier!

My Sunbeam Veranda opens as bright yellow and then fades to a pale yellow with pink polka dots. I wasn’t thinking when we planted it last summer and it ended up next to a crabapple tree. That puts it in deep shade for part of each afternoon, so I imagine that has something to do with the rose remaining a really small size (around 1 ft x 1 ft, like a mini). I definitely saw more blooms during its second season compared to its first. I’m in Zone 5a Colorado. It hasn’t struggled with disease.
