Floribunda (Duane Scheidemantle, United States, 2019)
True to it’s name, Romantic Love brings a certain electricity to the garden. Tight, rounded buds open to reveal soft pink blooms that remain cupped throughout the bloom cycle. Flowers are adorned with lovely sweet aroma that fills the garden. Performs well in warmer climates.

This is a delightful rose that lives up to its name. The fragrance is beautiful, and although the blooms look delicate and fragile it’s actually a pretty tough rose. We’ve had record breaking heat and drought and it is still growing and putting on size as well as buds!

This is a gorgeous rose! I planted it in mid-July in Denver, during record drought and high 90’s to 100 degree temperatures. It had no signs of transplant or heat stress, putting out robust new growth and already 2 little flushes of gorgeous, already fluffy, and fragrant blooms that are the most perfect pink. The blooms look delicate with their little nodding heads, but they hold up shockingly well to the intense Colorado sun. When we get rain there’s also no sign of blackspot. I absolutely love this rose!
