Floribunda (Olsen, 2009)
Prairie Snowdrift is a white sport of Morden Blush introduced by Paul G Olsen in 2009. The rose shares many characteristics of Morden Blush including dark green foliage and cup shaped white blossoms through out the summer. Classified as a floribunda, Prairie Snowdrift is quite versatile in the garden and can even be planted in a hedge. It is also somewhat unique as most zone 3-4 hardy roses tend toward pink and red. Prairie Snowdrift will grow to 4 feet tall by 3 feet wide.

Janice Grinyer –
Hardy hardy hardy in SE Montana- no winter protection on the east side of the house, yet she arrives in the spring with a ta day and still blooms all summer long. The blooms start out as a faded pink bud, then open up to a gorgeous snowy white; one of my favs to bring into the house. Not too many thorns, she gets along fine with my fragile day lily blooms as neighbors.

I love this rose. It’s a sport of one of my favorite roses, Morden Blush. It has the same health, flower shape, and abundance as Morden Blush, but in a white color. It’s just so pretty! Mine is smaller than my Morden Blush plants, but has a nice bushy shape and I was happy to see that it made beautiful hips this fall.
