I garden in a high humidity environment in zone 7b and Tess performs well for us. She is young in this video but you can get an idea of her bloom size https://youtu.be/-FixIhmOAWc

Once established, this has been a strong growing rose, impressive for a red rose.
Fragrance is beautiful, although not as strong as some other english roses.
The bloom ranges from pretty to absolutely gorgeous, quite a variance. This might be due to climate throughout the growing
season, but I would recommend feeding this rose well and it will repay your efforts.

I added this rose in my Connecticut, zone 6b/7a garden in Spring 2022. It didn’t bloom much the first year, but this year it bloomed continuously and still blooming in mid November. The blooms are perfect dark red. Not much black spots in our very humid summer. I highly recommend this rose.

Thorny but gorgeous!! Vigorous growth first year throwing 8’ canes! The blooms are stunning!

Tess has beautiful blooms, the plant grows a bit spindly for me but I plan to train it on a trellis. The scent is light-medium.

Tess was one of the smallest specimens I received this spring, but she took off in a hurry! Very healthy canes & foliage with about a dozen blossoms her maiden year. She produced 7, 4’ long, very thick canes (which have lots of thorns!). She is a robust, vigorous grower. I think she will be a good choice for horizontal growth along a 5’h fence.

This is my first year with Tess, it was a small plant when it arrived but it took off and has grown such long canes. I would say this is a vigorous grower, I plan to grow her on an obelisk. A beautiful dark red english rose.
