Climber (Warriner, United States, 1975)
Fittingly, America is an American Rose Society – All American Rose Selection and has been pleasing gardeners since 1976. America is a continuously blooming and intensely fragrant climbing rose with pointed buds that open into very double salmon-pink blooms. Can reach heights of 8′ to 12′ tall. Bred from ‘Fragrant Cloud’.

Joanna Tuck –
So many people have asked for cuttings of my America after seeing those enormous coral blooms and enjoying the fragrance. I keep mine pruned to a shrub shape which fits the spot in my garden and it blooms steadily all summer.
Krystie DeMello –
I LOVE this rose! She got a late summer planting in heat, but has put on good new growth and a couple of beautiful blooms- a rich coral color on a bloom size that’s larger than most. The scent is a soft rose scent, that I expect will continue developing with the plant. I cannot wait to see her next season!

Not the best in Zone 5. This was repeatedly the weakest of my climbers until it just up and died. I wouldn’t recommend it for any zone lower than 6, which is a pity because it looks beautiful.
