Purple Tiger

$27.95

Floribunda (Jack E. Christensen, United States, 1991)

Not just every flower, but every petal is a varying masterpiece of amazing purple, lavender & white stripes, streaks, flecks, dots & dashes. Plus there’s a powerful perfume of citrus blossom & rose. She’s a little fussy to grow as roses go. But each blossom will convince you to keep up the effort. Best flower size & purple color in cooler conditions.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE Purple Tiger!!! Every bloom is unique in its striping and proportions of purple to white. The blossoms are long lasting and appear as singles or pairs all over the bush. It has survived winter in my 5a Colorado front yard just fine. My sense of smell is poor, so I haven’t noticed a fragrance; but my husband assures me it is nice. Pictures of Purple Tiger dominate my camera roll. It is so interesting and so beautiful that it catches my eye every time I walk near the yard. It has kept a compact shape. If I ever had to start over, I would absolutely seek out this rose to have again. I’m a novice rose gardener and she’s given me no trouble. Purple Tiger rose is a stunning rose and an all-time favorite.

Purple Tiger a gorgeous beast! She’s a prolific bloomer, she produced insane blooms 3 times this year since planting in the Spring. She’s a healthy Gal! Scent is intoxicating too!
