I absolutely love this rose! While it doesn’t have much of a scent, the blooms are stunning, and the bush is covered with them, arcing in graceful boughs of blooms. The color is so lovely. One of my favorites!

This rose does get some blackspot, but still is very vigorous and can handle my very tough environment in Western North Carolina. It is a very beautiful purple. I love it!

    Catalina Flores – December 6, 2023

The color is stunning. Photos cannot capture the true beauty. It grows quickly. Not the healthiest in my 10b/coastal garden. It is susceptible to rust, but I don’t care. The beauty more than makes up for it!

Celestial Night does really well in my zone 6A growing zone. She doesn’t have much scent, but her color makes up for it!

Beautiful rose, arrived on time and growing well.

I have had this rose in my garden for 5 years. It performs very well and I love the color. I have it on Fortuniana Root Stock.

Stunning blooms, range from magenta to very dark purple depending on weather and temps. Healthy foliage so far.

  8. Rated 5 out of 5

    Mary Cookson – December 10, 2023

The color alone is a reason to buy this shrub. The fact that it blooms often just makes it that much better. It does get a little blackspot in my humid zone 7 no-spray garden, but the rose doesn’t really seem affected by it. This is one of my favorites, and I love how the blooms contrast with the light pink flowers I have nearby.

  9. Rated 5 out of 5

    Angela Patterson – December 10, 2023

It flushes in clusters of blooms in my 5a Colorado garden. Gets cut back after each winter and grows tall and strong again each spring. The color is gorgeous as is the shape of the blooms. Haven’t had any problems with disease.

Wonderful rose to replace one that failed to thrive. The rose arrived in great condition. Even though I planted it in my garden in late August it grew well and provided several lovely blooms before the first snow arrived. Color is gorgeous. I am looking forward to seeing what it does next growing season!

I grew to love this rose! The color in cooler weather is gorgeous. It blooms in flushes, but the entire plant is covered when it is in bloom.

I love this rose. I ordered it last year so this summer was my second summer with it. I got even more blooms than last year. I’m in zone 6a and we were having a very warm fall and this rose just kept on blooming! I would say the pictures don’t quite capture the richness of the bloom color. I have other ighter roses but this moody pink maroon plum is all me! The rose arrived well packaged and healthy.! The plants do well and come with wonderful instructions for caring and planting. I do use fish fertilizer which definitely helps as well as BT to fight the rose slugs. I also have to protect from deer! Through it all my roses all look healthy and strong. Love High Country Roses!
