Vigorous once-blooming alba rose. Gets 5-6 feet tall in z5/6 Intermountain West, no winter damage. The spring flush is impressive, and it smells wonderful. Sets lots of hips.

I got mine last fall and it overwintered just fine but then we had a really hot spell and it came out of dormancy and started with some good shoots and then we got hit with a few days of hard freeze and it died back completely. I had given up hope on this one because there was no life in it for about 6 weeks but then suddenly a new cane emerged from the ground and has taken off – one reason I love own-root roses!
