Hybrid Tea (Alain Meilland, France, before 2018)

This gorgeous, deep pink hybrid tea has a strong, sweet fragrance reminiscent of lilac and pineapple. Each bloom is enormous (5 inches), cupped, and bursting with over 200 petals. You’ll have a hard time finding a rose packed with more petals and fragrance.  Perfect for cutting and bringing inside to enjoy.

Huge blooms very fragrant even during her first year. Unfortunately, Japanese beetle loved her as much as I did. Blooms last 5-7 days on plant or vase. Looking forward to 2nd season.

The rose was much, much smaller than I thought it would be. It’s just a tiny little twig and the cutting used was super thin (a little under 1/8″). I was told it would be around 12″ tall, but it is around 6-7″ tall. It is growing, and it had some good roots, though. I put it in a bigger pot because it is waaaay too tiny to go in the ground. I guess I will see how it does.

Oh my what a beautiful rose! I ordered this rose in the fall, and she put on a bloom soon after planting. I was thrilled with this very large bloom, and smells fantastic! I truly look forward to spring. Very impressed with her so far.

I planted Loves me loves me not in the spring of 2025. It was a slow grower and stayed small the first year, but that happens for me for some roses grown in zone 7 southwest Idaho. It only got a few blooms in its first year, but they were full and beautiful.

I couldn’t wait to start growing Loves Me, Loves Me Not in my zone 6b garden. I started with a very small plant in spring 2025, so I wasn’t sure what to expect for bloom production. In its first year, though, it set four blooms with an impressive number of petals. The fragrance is so different — in a good way — from what I’d experienced from any other rose. It has nice notes of pineapple. I’m glad I decided to choose this variety!

Love Me Love Me Not has been the standout of my January order and is easily my favorite of the twenty roses I planted. It blooms constantly everyone assumes they are peonies, not roses. Peonies are my favorite, but they do not thrive in hot, dry Arizona, so this rose feels like the perfect substitute. I will absolutely be ordering more.

I ordered Loves Me, Loves Me Not in Spring of 2025. I love it so much I just purchased 2 more for a trio. The blooms are huge, it has the most unique shade of pink and the fragrance is strong and fruity which I love! She was a standout for sure! Excited for Spring and to see her bloom and continue to grow! From 5b Iowa
