Cramoisi Supérieur

$27.95

China (Pierre Coquereau, France, 1832)

If you’ve traveled in the southern United States, there is a great chance you’ve encountered Cramoisi Superieur cheerfully blooming all over the place.  Blooms are globular in shape and colored in velvety crimson with rolled back petals that contract with iridescent lavender-crimson reverses.  The look is eye-catching.  This rose will require some winter protection.

This is my favorite rose. North of Houston Zone 9b no black spot on this rose. Happy healthy and typically flushes from spring through…well she’s still blooming in January. Her smell is soft sweet – like Fruity Pebbles breakfast cereal. Red blooms that fade to a pink and white lined edging. Open and airy bush – upright habit. Love her!
