Noisette (Philippe Noisette, United States, 1817)

One of the first Noisette roses, and the first to carry the name “Noisette”.  This historic rose is a prolific bloomer with clusters of dainty cupped light pink flowers accented by a mild clove fragrance.  Planted in clusters, Blush Noisette will grow into a stately hedge.

  1. Rebecca Stebbins

This rose has the prettiest, dainty flowers with a sweet, light scent. It puts up large sprays and does well with neglect, in spite of the arid Southern California Mediterranean climate.

  2. Martha Bunn

The blooms are small and clustered. The plant is long branched for a first year. I pegged it to help control rocking in winter winds I’m very impressed with the strong growth of this plant.
