I garden in a high humidity in zone 7b. Raspberry Cupcake is scented and resistant to blackspot. She is prolific and I love the pop of pink with the silvery reverse. For a video of the habit and bloom:https://youtu.be/-OicnWtEOLQ

Love, love, love this rose! She’s in a pot for now until I find the right spot for her but does that stop this first year rose from blooming? Nope. Absolute gem in my garden!

If you are looking for a beautifully fragrant, delicately pretty, healthy rose that can handle a less than great spot in the garden, Raspberry Cupcake is a good option. I know climbers are a bit slower to get going, but this one isn’t the slowest, and she’s still blooming while she grows.

    Growing well in zone 8b.
    Healthy and pretty flowers

During 2025, I planted Raspberry Cupcake for the first time in my zone 6b garden. It bloomed so well in its first year and continued to set buds until frosty conditions arrived. The bloom color was nice — a richer shade on the side of petals facing up and a more muted shade on the backs. The fragrance had citrus notes, so the blooms smelled very fresh.

I have her in my garden since 2023, one of my favorite fragrant pink roses.Disease resistant and low maintenance, she always gives me a lot of nice blooms in zone 11 Hawaii.

I got this rose for myself for Mother’s Day a couple of years ago, the fragrance is outstanding! And I also found the roses to be of decent size and health is good (no blackspot for me). I live in an area that has typically a wet spring and hot and dry summer (zone 5b). One of my favorite’s for sure!
