Golden Wings   High Country Roses is pleased to offer a great selection of over 250 varieties of hardy roses, all grown in containers on their own roots and carefully selected for hardiness and superior garden performance.
We are currently taking orders for shipping this season on the date of your choice. As the roses are growing in pots and may be leafed when they are shipped, we recommend you request your shipment when there is no danger of a hard freeze.
We ship roses in quart-size containers from March through December (our local weather permitting) on your preferred ship date.

To order roses, go to the Ordering Information page and print out our order form. You may mail or fax in the order form, or use it as a guideline for ordering by phone. On-line shopping is now available though our secure server, with many photographs of the roses. For our complete selection, the Alphabetical Listing is a descriptive list of the roses we carry.

We are happy to mail gift certificates at any time. You may specify any dollar amount or send the certificate for specific roses, including shipping. Call us toll free at 1-800-552-2082 to make arrangements.

The types of roses we grow range from antique, old garden roses to modern shrub roses, miniature roses, floribundas and climbing roses. We carry many of the Canadian Explorer and Parkland roses as well as a number of English shrub roses. Visit our Rose Class section for more information on the wide variety of roses that are available.

Originally established as the High Country Rosarium in Denver, Colorado, we now grow and ship roses from our greenhouses and nursery, Split Mountain Farm, in Jensen, Utah. We're located near the Utah-Colorado border a few miles east of Vernal, Utah. Our climate is the high, cold desert of the Uinta Basin (Zone 4-5), where roses truly have to be tough to thrive.
