I could never ever be without this rose. The blooms are huge and fantastic and the bush is so vigorous and healthy that it grew several feet in its first season. The canes are long and arching and the whole effect is really spectacular. The fragrance and color of these old fashioned blooms is just perfect and it blooms for quite a long time. I have it surrounded with repeat blooming roses and other flowers so that it becomes lovely greenery when the blooms are done for the season.

I bought this rose this spring and it has really taken off and is already a couple feet tall and wide. It has given me a few blooms that are big and blousy, kind of like a bourbon rose, yet it has the fragrance of a centifolia. I recently bought a copper still for making rose hydrosol and once blooming damasks and centifolias are the best for this. I like it that it’s once blooming just for that purpose. Next year should be a good one after seeing what it did this year.

I absolutely love this rose! Unfortunately it only blooms once, but what a show!
Love the form and fragrance of the blooms!
Has proven very hardy for me, more than expected even.
