The writeup for In Your Eyes mentions that blooms open yellow and then mature to lavender. The color change happens in the same day! A blossom that is yellow in the morning will be pink for me (not really lavender) by evening. A day or two later that pink bloom will be white. It is fascinating and beautiful. I have it in Zone 5a Colorado with clay soil on a slope, and it does well there. It puts out prolific flushes with tons of flowers at a time and blooms regularly all season. So far, mine is about 2-3 feet wide but nowhere near its projected 6-8 feet height, yet. I’ve only had it for a year, though, so we’ll see how big it gets when it matures. Meanwhile, this is a fun rose to have.
