Grandiflora (Christian Bédard, United States, 2021)

Pop Art couldn’t be a more appropriate name for the explosion of color and fragrance this brings to the garden.  Old fashioned blooms are large, cupped, and feature an intriguing orange blend coloration with streaks of golden yellow and pink.  The fragrance is strong with notes of citrus fruit.  An upright grower with glossy foliage that shrugs off rust and powdery mildew.  A consistent rebloomer that makes a great cut flower.

Plant arrived healthy. Not much growth this year, but it did produce a few adorable tiny blooms that were beautifully striped. Just miniature versions of what you see in the picture. Excited to see it grow more in the future.
