This rose struggled in a sunny location – not sure if wind and heat were factors when another rose did well. Planted in May and it was pretty iffy until Sep. Only started producing a few small flowers recently, color was mostly pale cream. Hoping it will take off next year now that it is established.

Healthy and wonderfully fragrant, but blooms are a buttercream yellow rather than apricot as depicted/described. I bought Oh Happy Day elsewhere prior to this and had the same issue.

Only pale yellow blooms, and very few of those. Very disappointed!!

The majority of the pictures I’ve seen of this rose is of an apricot color but it comes out a pretty yellow in the middle instead. Honestly, a wonderful surprise for me. I don’t have many yellows in the garden, it truly is a spot of sunshine! I enjoy it! Looking forward to it next year for it’s first full season with me.

If the marketing photos are accurate, then it is apparent that there was a mix up in the grower’s field at ‘Weeks’. I purchased 26 plants in 2023 labeled ‘Oh Happy Day’ but the flowers were pale yellow in all seasons. Not apricot in color. Plants were however, vigorous. An investigation would be appropriate to correct the issue.
