    Denver area – May 25, 2024

In zone 5 Colorado Neil Diamond fries and wilts in the heat and full sun. It is also not cane hardy through the winter (most winters). It is known for it’s strong fragrance which does not appeal to me so sniff it in advance if you can. It is one I’m likely to pull out sooner rather than later even though in cool overcast weather the blooms are exceptionally pretty. However, I also would like it to also look good in the summer, which it does not. As usual High Country Roses provided an exceptional plant that grows well and is healthy.

Beautiful rosebush finally got the first bloom and it’s beautiful. It’s doing well in 90° weather no problems.

I absolutely love this rose! She does best in morning sun partial shade. Zone 7B Found this out moving her pot around to find her forever spot before planting! The petals are so pretty and never ever the same. Sometimes more pink with white sometimes all white with pink stripes! This rose was on my wishlist at the very beginning and by far one of my favorites. Only con is she’s a blackspot magnet in 7B especially with the rainy spring of 2024. Still wouldn’t stop me from purchasing her. I ordered lots of bare roots and then I got my bands from high country. Honestly the band roses from high country out did any of my bare roots even some of my more established rose bushes. Will definitely be buying any rose high country offers that’s on my wishlist this year!
