Simple, bright blooms that start early & keep blooming even when the temperatures drop in Autumn. The buds are also lovely when dried. Glossy, healthy foliage on this low-maintenance shrub.

I love this rose! Our winters are extreme, and this beauty copes wonderfully! The foliage is lovely and there is a constant flush of blooms even as the temperatures start dropping. A frost doesn’t scare this one off at all!

The color of this rose is just fantastic. So bright and beautiful. It did get some blackspot for me in my humid zone 7a garden, but it still flowered nicely. I’m very happy with it.

The photos of Winnipeg Parks do it pretty good justice for representing the gorgeous deep pink with which it blooms. I live in zone 5a Colorado with clay soil. This was its first season. It was slower to begin blooming and did not bloom as prolifically as its neighboring new shrub, Morden Sunrise, but my Winnipeg Parks was slow and steady in growth and blooms with no disease. It was happily still blooming as autumn set in and occasional nights dipped into freezing temperatures. Early growth seems to be moving away from the compact shape, so this beauty looks like it will need a little room to be free.

    Denver area – May 19, 2024

Winnipeg Parks is one of my most rewarding roses. It is first to bloom in the spring, blooms continuously through the season and is still blooming after the first frost in Colorado. Eventually it goes dormant but it is extremely hardy. It is also cane hardy and getting bigger year over year. It stays in a ball shape and does not send out long canes. This is it’s 5th year and it is 8′ wide and 5′ tall.
