$25.95

Canadian (Campbell Davidson, Canada, 1996)

The rose Bill Reid produces vibrant yellow blooms on a compact 3′ x 3′ bush. The shape, form and color are true to its parentage of Morden Sunrise and Golden Celebration. The rose is continuously blooming in the summer months and is know for its good disease resistance.

This 2012 addition to Canadian Artist Series honors the acclaimed Haida sculptor Bill Reid (1920 – 1998). Ried’s work richly depicts the culture of indigenous Haida Nation and life on Canada’s Pacific coast.

I am in Zone 6b but we get very cold winter storms here in South Lake Tahoe with lots of snow. Bill Reid has survived them all so far; I have had this rose for two years now; and it produces gorgeous yellow flowers with gold highlights — the colors of the sunset. I love this hardy little rose.

Zone 5/6 Denver CO, beautiful flowers that have a good fruit fragrant. It just keeps flowering. Looks good in winter. It is a small 2-3ft as described.
