  1. Rated 5 out of 5

    Denver area – May 19, 2024

My Fred Loads is 4 yrs old. It is not cane hardy here in Colorado zone 5. However, it comes back strong each year and has survived a -20F winter. Last year it was 8.5′ tall, clipped to a trellis. It does shoot out very long canes. The blooms are brilliant orange. I would buy this rose again for the stunning concentration of color that makes it look like a flaming torch.

  2. Rated 5 out of 5

    Lynne – June 9, 2024

This is a fantastic rose. In two years it has grown to 7 feet tall and 5 feet wide, overgrowing our fence. It handles our brutal spring winds and night freezes with no dye-back of canes. Our winter temperatures get into the teens (F), and sometimes into the single digits. Starting in the spring and throughout the summer and fall it is covered with clusters of pure salmon-orange blooms.
