I always order from highcountryroses and loved their collection and quality. However, was very disappointed with this order of Distant drums rose..It arrived very small 2 to 3 inches tall plant. I planted it in the flower bed. It never grew. All other Roses in the same flower bed took off. But this one stayed the same with 3 to 4 leaves on it..it never grew..so I waited until winter..the leaves fell off and now it’s spring and all other Roses have lot of new growth but this one didn’t come back..it is just the same..a small dry twig with no leaves sticking out of the ground..$32 down the drain! 🙁

      Hi Sonal –
I’m sorry to hear about your Distant Drums. This plant can be a bit finicky. I guarantee all of our plants for a full year and I’m happy to replace the rose. I definitely don’t want you to feel like it was money down the drain. Let me know what you’d like to do.
      Thanks,
      Matt Douglas

This has become one of my favorite roses. It is one of the healthiest and easy care roses I have and blooms and blooms all season long. I have it growing in a very large pot and it does well there as well as in the ground. I feel like the bonus with this rose is that no 2 blooms ever look the same. It has a unique pleasant fragrance as well.

Slow growing and disease resistance is meh if you live in a hot and humid zone (I am in 7a) but the blooms more than make up for the fuss. This rose is truely worthy of the hype.
