Came packaged very carefully and beautifully! the rose is already putting off new growth and already has a bud forming after 2 weeks! I am excited to enjoy them soon!

Securely packaged and looked great when it arrived a couple weeks ago. It has beautiful new growth and a nice sized bud.

Arrived in great condition. Stunning rose. Did so well the first year that I ordered more for this year. Even did well in fairly high heat/humidity.

I’ve only had this rose for 4 months but it’s growing and performing well, despite the heat and humidity of coastal Alabama. The description is very accurate, a gorgeous rose with such a nice fragrance. Like all the roses I’ve received from Matt at High Country (this is my 2nd yr to order roses from him), they arrive very well packaged and well rooted. I’m thankful that I found this company, they make it possible to buy affordable, quality own root roses. I like to fool around propagating roses as a hobby and have a lifetime assortment but I also love to try new (to me) roses, I highly recommend High Country Roses and buying own root roses.

Great quality as always. It came small, but thrived very fast and bloomed the first month i got it.

Gorgeous cream/peach/pink color and large, full blooms with a wonderful fragrance. Very vigorous growth on this one this year, it at least tripled or quadrupled in size from the baby band it was. Blooms tend to ball in the rain for me here (pacific northwest) but just lovely in the dry season.

I bought a bliss and then I bought another and then another. Haha she is my favorite rose. Simply Perfect 🥰

There are not enough stars here Matt. Bliss deserves 10 stars. She is perfection. If you are reading this review and she is in stock. Stop. Go back to your cart and check out before she sells out. I LOVE THIS ROSE. I am gardening in zone 7b. She laughs as high humidity and resists blackspot. She blooms non-stop. She is fragrant. How many do I have 34. How many am I adding, at least a dozen more. Do you want to see her habit and blooms? Search on my channel, I have LOTS of videos of her but here is one for you to see. https://youtu.be/Liigc_xDy3I

First year rose review, spring 2023, zone 5b. From this order I purchased: Princess Charlene de Monaco, Koko Loko, Reine Des Violettes, Firefighter, Top Cream, Bolero, Ebb Tide, Apricot Twist, and Quicksilver. Quicksilver wasn’t ready by the early ship date so I switched it with Bliss. The order was packed well and shipped quickly. Everything arrived healthy and I was very happy with this experience (first order from High Country and first time ordering band roses). I kept them in an unheated greenhouse until June, then moved out to a raised bed that I had planned to grow them out for the first year or so until I move them out to their permanent spot. It’s my second year growing roses and first experience with bands. Although the plants are small I was able to try more varieties within my budget. I almost didn’t get Bliss this year, but I’m glad I did. It flowered well the first year and had a beautiful scent.

A gorgeous, healthy shrub. The flowers are large and beautiful, and fragrant. The leaves are spotless. It’s a very showy rose!

Excellent disease resistance and very vigorous grower. This is one tough rose that can handle my very blackspot prone environment in Western North Carolina

I have well over 150 roses and Bliss remains my favorite. She’s so healthy, her blooms are gorgeous, and her scent is fantastic. She has excellent repeat and stays in a wonderful shrub form. I can’t say enough good about Bliss!

You NEED this rose! Floriferous, fragrant, quick repost! Draws everyone who visits my garden in (and has now been planted at my mom’s and my sister’s house).
Shipping and customer service are excellent!

    Meggan Patino – December 6, 2023

I have 8 Bliss roses and they’re all wonderful. She stays nice and compact, great for containers. She repeats very quickly and blooms in the heat for me, although her blooms do get smaller in heat they are still packed with petals. She is one of the easiest roses in my garden and I have gifted several to friends that are new to growing roses because I think she is one of the easiest and most rewarding varieties I’ve ever grown!

Super healthy, blooming machine. The blooms are huge and full petal count. 1st year and it was amazing!!

    Bicky Tran – December 7, 2023

This is one rose I can say has it all. Vigorous, beautiful blooms, lot of roses that fills the entire shrub, disease resistance, beautiful fragrance, and in Texas she can grow up to 5-6 feet. That’s the height of mine. I want more now.

    Patricia Chan – December 9, 2023

Bliss is truly a beautiful rose. The petal count is high and the scent is wonderful! This one liked to grow wide before giving me any sort of good height.

What a great rose , soft coloring, very good for mixing in bouquets.

Probably my favorite rose ever. I ordered 2 bands last winter (along with 3 Julia Child and 2 Eden Climbers) and planted mid February 2023. these are a work horse variety, they did not stop… even through our 3 weeks of triple digit temps. No scent that I can detect so far but that is to be expected from baby plants. Recommend these for sure

What can I say about Bliss other than it is probably my favorite rose. The plant is strong and grows nicely on its own roots, it flowers well and each flower is a fragrant work of art. Foliage is good too, a pretty tough rose.

Bliss deserves a million stars. She grows fast and blooms constantly. The most healthy and happy of all of my roses, she can grow up to 8 ft tall and 6 ft wide. Everyone should have one or ten Bliss in their garden. It is a must have.

    rosegrower75 – November 14, 2024

I love Bliss! It’s been a healthy and continuous bloomer in my garden. The coloring and shape reminds me of David Austin’s Evelyn. The scent is medium fragrance but much different than Evelyn scent.

    Brandon Garner – November 15, 2024

A nice rose. I have 3 plants, two of them are about 3-4 feet, and one is 6-7 feet tall. The color is a color that is similar to both Evelyn and Abraham Darby. It could be a substitute for one of those if you can’t get either.

I’m in zone 6a and this was my second summer with Bliss from High Country Roses. I love this rose! The rose arrived well packaged and healthy! The plants do well and come with wonderful instructions for caring and planting. I ordered it along with Celestial Night. I’m always surprised that they bloom the first year. And they bloomed even better this summer. The color is so soft! I do use fish fertilizer which definitely helps as well as BT to fight the rose slugs. I also have to protect from deer! Through it all my roses all look healthy and strong. Love High Country Roses!

Zone 6a, recently 5b, mid hudson valley NY. Gorgeous large very full white/ soft blush rose, pinker in the fall. Very cupped shape before fully opened. Whole package: vigorous grower, extremely healthy, floriferous, and quite the romantic look. Several small flushes of 2-3 blooms at a time in its first 4 months in my garden.

Beautiful, continuously blooming white/cream rose with lots of petals. When the temperature drops get ready to see the inner petals turn to the most gorgeous pastel shades of pink, peach and yellow.

I’m in zone 10a, rose was well packaged and healthy. Bliss rose grew fast and strong with large beautiful blooms the first year. A very reliable bloomer and a super healthy rose and it’s growing great in a pot. Definitely my favorite rose.
