All of the many roses I’ve ordered from High Country have grown well. Polka, to me, is the most beautiful!

This rose is absolutely stunning! The bloom lasts quite a long time and is simply beautiful the entire time. I walk by it many times a day just to grab a quick sniff of its amazing fragrance. I have had in this ground for two summers, and this year it was already about 4 feet tall with an impressive number of blooms. This is my favorite High Country Rose so far!

This is one of my most vigorous roses! I purchased it last summer, and it is already about 6 feet, with lots of branches and gigantic blousy apricot blooms.

In one season, these roses have reached the top of the pergola! They are healthy, vigorous growers that bloomed continually this summer.

Bought mine a year and half ago at HCR and this rose is beautiful. The fragrance is intoxicating, the bloom enchanting. I have it planted on an arbor over my front porch steps. I cannot wait until it takes over the arbor with it’s ethereal beauty. This rose is worth the patience to see it bloom.

This climber surprised me! I didn’t know that climbers like this can have gigantic blooms and fragrant to boot! I planted her last fall as a twig and she’s not 6ft tall! She’s amazing!

Polka is my favorite rose of all time! The plants are hearty and the blooms are amazing. The color is soft, yet vibrant with a petal shape that makes for a perfect rose.

I’ve grown Polka from HCR in the Santa Cruz, CA hills, Austin TX and now in very northern California. In other words, various climates, usually low nutrient soil, and in the last two, ridiculous summer heat. I love the flower and up until now, loved the tall easy to grow plant. This poor rose has been in the ground about 3 years and has had the fence fall on it twice. This past summer we had temperatures over 110 from June through September. I have never before seen as many thorns on this specific rose before. I just gave it a deep pruning and am stunned at the thorny growth. Still love it, but I approach it as a beloved adversary. I doubt my summers will get cooler. Still – gorgeous scents and beautiful blooms but in my 9B (hah!) area, the late blooms are really faded out. I’m really looking forward to springtime.
