Large Flowered Climber (Alain Meilland, France, 1996)

Clusters of large apricot blend flowers emerge in the early spring and stay all season.  Great disease resistance and winter hardiness, make Garden Sun a great choice for an arbor or trellis.  A prolific bloomer that holds up well in the heat as well as cut in the vase.

In one season, these roses have reached the top of the pergola! They are healthy, vigorous growers that bloomed continually this summer.

  2. Rated 3 out of 5

Glossy, spot free leaves. Zone 6a (formerly 5b) upstate NY, mid Hudson valley. Planted July 1 2024. Medium to slow growth rate in its first partial season in my garden, full sun. Grew to 2.5′ tall x 2.5′ wide. No blooms yet. Likely due to some rose midge dancing about my garden (yikes!). I love yellow/ apricot/ peachy colored roses, and hopeful that this very bushy and lustrous plant full of healthy, shiny leaves will leap into action in the coming season and next.
