-25%Climbing Rose (Julie Overom, United States, 2006)
Cherry Frost is a solid, zone 4 hardy, climbing rose with beautiful clusters of smaller red blooms. It will repeat bloom throughout the season in abundance. It has superior disease resistance and performs well on its own roots.

I have only had this rose 1 season but it will be a keeper. It has grown to 6 feet and has had several canes produce very nice clusters. Absolutely no BLACK SPOT!!!! Award winning rose.

Beautiful rose, covered in flowers.

I got this little climber last summer and if it does as well as all the rest of my High Country Roses that climb, it will be about three or four feet tall by the end of next summer. For a small plant it is very strong and healthy and I expect big things from it. Can not wait til next year to see the red roses going up the trellis.

i saw this rose at Biltmore Gardens in Asheville, NC and had to have a couple of them. My two roses (one quart size) arrived in early June, 2024. A couple of the canes grew to about five feet before the cold weather here in South Carolina. It is now late May of 2025, and I had to get a larger trellis! A couple of the canes are over six feet with several canes branching out, and they have several clusters of beautiful flowers. I spray them once in a while with Neem oil to keep the pests off, and they are doing very well.

This is an amazing rose! It blooms continuously with bright red clusters with good disease resistance. I love it so much that I purchased another one. I grow it in Zone 5, Illinois. It’s a short climber (to 6 feet) and would do well on a small trellis or even a large pot. Would highly recommend.

Very vigorous in our zone 5a. Three 4 to 5 foot canes in 1 season. Fairly frequent and floriferous.

This is a follow up review that I just have to post. This rose is a stunner that wows everyone who sees it. I have it planted next to a Sky’s the Limit and the two are growing against each other. This rose is about 16 plus feet tall. I could not believe the gorgeous red of the Cherry Frost. The brightest, deepest red you can ever imagine. So tall and it blooms continuously. We have an entire wall of roses on the North side of the yard and they get plenty of sunshine, but this one really surprised me as to how fast it took off, as well as Sky’s the Limit. Fantastic performance for a young climber. Takes people’s breath away with its incredible beauty. The real star of our North wall of roses climbing all the way over our fence so the neighbors can enjoy it, too.
