Rambler – Hybrid Setigera (Samuel and John Feast, United States, 1843)

Baltimore Belle was a early summer masterpiece in our founder, Dr. Campbell’s garden. This classic rambler, from setigera parentage, blooms prolifically in clusters of 20 to 30, highly perfumed, and cupped pale pink flowers. An ideal choice for pillars or arches and can be groomed into a hedge.

Rachel Lund (verified owner) – November 21, 2024

I planted Baltimore Belle summer of 2024. Even though it was a baby band sized rose it gave me 1 bloom within a few weeks of planting her. The scent was strong, fruity and exquisite and gives me something to look forward to in coming years. She quadrupled in size from the time I received her until snow hit this week. Prior to the snow I gently curved her supple canes down and covered them with Alfalfa straw. I am in North Dakota planting zone 3 just a couple of miles from the Canadian border. But I get good snow cover and it is a sheltered area. So I’m hoping to do a bit of zone cheating here. I’ll give updates in coming years with my results.
