Hybrid Tea (Alain Meilland, France, 2006)

This variety displays excellent disease resistance for the type with large, full, double blooms that are unique in color. The color can vary with the temperatures, becoming lighter in the heat and deeper, more vibrant pink in cooler temperatures. The blooms are very fragrant, and the plant grows with great vigor.

I received a very healthy and robust plant, which has taken off in spectacular fashion, filling out and producing lots of growth, and some beautiful scented blooms. I’m excited to see the progression on this one. A+++

I garden in a high humidity environment in zone 7b. Sweet M doesn’t care about humidity. She blooms like crazy and is fragrant. You are going to want to give her some room because she is a big girl. She is quickly becoming my top 10 fav. For a video of her habit and bloom: https://youtu.be/9PKp3JRV3KE

If I could only recommend one rose, this is the one it would be! Stunning peach to coral blooms that are absolutely gigantic, my favorite scent of all of my roses, and it is constantly in bloom! Love it so much, I have three!

This is a showstopper rose. The blooms are huge, brightly colored, and very fragrant with a lovely mango-fruity scent. I have it right next to my front steps and I love it. It’s very healthy and I’ve not seen any disease in three years of growing it.

Love the color and fragrance but it doesn’t bloom prolific for me. It blooms in fall when other roses are slowing down for me. I have it in a pot so your plant may behave differently if you have it in the ground!

Sweet Mademoiselle is my #2 favorite in my garden! Absolutely beautiful fragrance, superior health and blooms like crazy! I don’t repeat varieties often in my garden, but I have 3 of these now because they are that good! Beautiful coral color! Don’t pass this one up!

The color is breathtaking, it really pops in the garden. Has a wonderful fragrance as well. I think I need a second one.lol

Sweet Mademoiselle is absolutely stunning. It blooms nonstop all summer and grows into a massive, thriving shrub. I planted it in March 2024, and by July, it was already as big as some of my roses that are over three years old. This rose regularly boasts 20 or more blooms at a time, even in 110°F dry heat, which only seems to inspire it to bloom more. The flowers last for weeks on the bush, making it a standout in any garden. Truly a perfect workhorse rose!

I love Sweet Mademoiselle, I call her my sunset rose, the colors are like an intense coral/rose sunset. And the fragrance is a strong, sweet fruit candy, yum! She’s also great for cutting, lasts several days and has long, strong stems. Zone 8b Oregon

One of my very favorite roses. Cupped coral blooms that smell heavenly. The shape of the plant is very elegant and upright with long strong canes. Give her a lot of room!

A great rose that blooms frequently & fragrantly! Gorgeous color in the cooler weather. My zone is 7b so I might move it to a spot with afternoon light shade to see if color deepens.

Big beautiful blooms! My SM is a giant in the garden. She grows tall and puts out some huge blooms. The color and shape of the blooms is perfection. Reasonably healthy plant, some black spot but not too bad.

I received my SM rose and the plant is so tiny and pathetic. The stems are not even a pencil thick, I’m hoping it will do well but Im not impressed with the rose I purchased for the first time from this company.

She is so sweet! I bought her last year in the spring. It was a small starter plant from a cutting , actually there were two rooted cuttings in the container that I split. This spring both of them are about 5 ‘ tall and both blooming. The flowers are breathtaking! Huge, full of petals, sweetly aromatic, beautiful shade of peachy pink. I cannot have enough of her. I’d wish I could add a picture here. If you have a room in your garden, you should get her. Thank you!

I have to say, Sweet Mademoiselle completely took me by surprise. For one thing, her growth was outrageous. Here in 7b, the humid summers leave little to no blackspot on her, and she’s grown by leaps and bounds in one season. Her scent is wonderful, and ….I hate to say it, but the pictures on the website don’t do her justice. I almost didn’t buy this rose because I have a lot of pink roses, and the pictures were only ok. I am so glad I did. I have many, many roses, and she’s probably in the top five. Her color and number of blooms are amazing. I wish I could attach a picture so that her beautiful coral pink tones could be seen. They fade to a peachy orange on the inside as they age. Unlike other medium pink roses, her blooms haven’t faded in the harsh sun. Her leaves are pristine. The number of blooms in early November are outdoing even my more established roses. I can’t recommend her enough.

Very vigorous. Definitely in the top ten percent of roses (in my garden) for floriferousness: she’s a blooming machine! The neighborhood kids say this is the best rose in my yard and they are tough critics to please! 😉 beautiful bloom form and strongly sweet scent. Other than grande dame, this is the most vigorous hybrid tea I have, she’ll get big so give her plenty of space (you won’t be sad, she’ll do lovely things with all that space you gave her!)…or she’ll out-muscle the competition herself!

Purchased for fall planting 2025. Rose bush arrived healthy and happy. And shipping was fairly quick.

I purchased a baby SM in 2022. Despite having been moved and a tree shading her out she has grown to be over 6’ tall and produces the most beautiful blooms. She has now survived numerous hot droughty summers and bitterly cold, windy winters here in Nebraska 5b. Even years when she has to be cut back almost to the ground she comes back stronger than ever.
