Our Greenhouse
Over the years, High Country Roses growing operation has moved around quite a bit. In 1970, we started in the basement of Dr. Campbell’s medical office in the heart of Denver. From there, we’ve grown roses on a farm in Fort Lupton, Colorado, spent over 20 years growing at my sister’s nursery in Jensen, Utah and finally returned to the Denver area in 2011. Our current home is in Broomfield, Colorado, about 15 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. Here, we operate about 50,000 ft2 of greenhouse growing area and produce between 40,000 and 50,000 roses each year.
Our facility is a growing and shipping operation that is not a traditional retail location open to walk-in customers. That said, we do love to have visitors, but we ask that you CONTACT US before your visit to set an appointment.
The greenhouse is located at 10195 Wadsworth Blvd, in Broomfield, Colorado 80021. Please note that Wadsworth Boulevard is “old” Wadsworth and not Wadsworth Parkway (or CO Hwy 121). See the map for reference:
Once you arrive at the address, you will see Front Range Garden’s retail center located at the front of the property. Our office and greenhouses are located behind (west) Front Range Gardens. From the front parking lot, you will take the service road located on the south side of the main greenhouse. This road leads to the parking area behind the main greenhouse. Our office is located in the green building in the parking lot between the two sets of greenhouses. Check in here first and we’re happy to show you around.
