Angel Face

Rated 4.33 out of 5 based on 6 customer ratings
(6 customer reviews)

$25.95

Floribunda (Swim & Weeks, United States, 1968)

Loads of ruffled lavender blossoms permeate the air with the strong perfume of sweet citrus flowers. A perennial favorite because of the low bushy habit, the nearly continual production of blooms, the unusual color, and the sweet fragrance. Established plants give the most bloom.

Mary Cookson (verified owner) – November 13, 2023

The most beautiful fragrance! Angel Face is positioned near my back door where I can smell the flowers every time I walk out. This rose does get black spot in my humid climate, but I wouldn’t be without it in my garden.

The smell is intoxicating and the purple color is a standout.

  3. Rated 2 out of 5

    Connie Bressler – November 15, 2023

Unfortunately, I had to get rid of this rose because it suffered from blackspot so badly. I am in zone 7b western North Carolina.

  4. Rated 5 out of 5

    Angela Patterson – December 10, 2023

Angel Face has overcome any disease it has suffered, but mine hasn’t grown much taller than a foot. I think it might be in a somewhat shady spot, though, so perhaps I ought to move it. It blooms once in a while, but when it blooms it has the most beautiful color and shape. It’s also a resilient plant in my 5a Colorado garden, coming back each spring for the last 5 years after it looks like the last winter finished it off. The lavender/mauve color always makes me pause and marvel at its loveliness.

Love the fragrance of Angel Face! It’s a strong scent and the blooms are beautiful.
