Rambler-Hybrid Wichuraiana (Laxton Bros., United Kingdom, 1926)
Monthly Rambler is a bit of a rarity among hybrid wichuraiana rambling roses. To begin with, I would call this rose a bit of a modestly sized rambler, with a total height between 8 and 12 feet and a width to match. Second, Monthly Rambler blooms in flushes all season in clusters of semi-double crimson flowers and accented by a moderate fresh fragrance. A great choice for a pillar or wall.
Note: This rose is part of the American Rose Society’s “Save the Ramblers Initiative” focused on preserving the rare roses of Anne Belovich’s personal collection. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this rose will fund the ongoing preservation efforts of the American Rose Society.
