Grandiflora (Tom Carruth, United States, 2003)
About Face is a truly unique rose. Flowers unfurl with bi colored petals sporting a golden yellow interior and a bronzy orange reverse. The blend is eye catching and pleasant. The rose plant is superb in vigor with lush clean green leaves and loads of blooms. Very disease resistant.

I garden in zone 7b Maryland with a high humidity. She is holding up beautifully to the heat and humidity. To see a video of her full habit to include bloom click here: https://youtu.be/MGhu303P2A0

About Face is gorgeous! The bloom has a glowing orange center and red reverse. The only issue so far is a little black spot, but that is hard not to have in Oklahoma 7a.

I have grown About Face for many years as own root. I posted a pic. in HMF as StrawChicago. About Face is very winter hardy in my zone 5, reaching more than 6 feet in late fall. It has sharp thorns, drought tolerant and very healthy. It’s worth growing for bush beauty with the prettiest color (can be seen from far away). The scent is pleasant fruity to my nose.
